Jim Sund
Varsity Volunteer Coach – OL/DL
Coach Sund is a veteran of 34 years of coaching High School Football. He was the offensive co-ordinator and Defensive Back Coach at East Valley High School up until 2006 when he retired. He was hired as a Math Instructor at CWU and missed coaching so "Hooked Up" with Eburg. In 2004 Coach Sund was awarded the "Crystal Apple Award" by the East Valley School District. In 2003 he was chosen the Nationall Assistant Football Coach of the year by scholastic coach magazine. |

I grew up here in Ellensburg and was a part of the Ellensburg Football program from 1995-1999. I graduated from CWU with a degree in health and fitness after playing linebacker for the Wildcats from 1999-2003. I am currently in my 6th year of coaching football. My first coaching job was at Morton Jr/Sr High School. The next three years were spent coaching the Morgan Tigers. This is my second year as Ellensburg’s C-Squad coach and I am currently teaching health and fitness at EHS. I have a beautiful wife Stephanie of 8 years and two beautiful girls Ezri (4) and Eden (1). I feel very blessed to have a loving family and a job I love to come to everyday.

I am happy to join the proud tradition that is Ellensburg Football. I am a huge fan of the game and all it has to offer. There is no better job than working with young adults. Getting paid to work with student athletes and being around football seems like stealing but I need the pay to buy more toys. A little about me; I am a Special Education Teacher at E.H.S. and at EXCEL (alternative high school). My lovely wife and best friend of 15+ years, Dana Hamilton, is a school counselor at E.H.S. and together we have on amazing son. Stone Harper is a sophomore and plays WR/S for the Bulldogs and getting to be around him in this arena is awesome. I grew up in the D.C. area (Hail to the Redskins) and moved to Washington state and graduated from Lake Stevens High School. Football is also my hobby along with; playing hockey, travel, snow and wake boarding, running and any chance I get surfing (not many chances in Eburg)!!! Thanks for all your support and GO BULLDOGS!!!

Dale Enders
Assistant Coach
Defensive Coordinator QB/DB
Coach Enders begins his third year with the Bulldogs working with the offensive and defensive lines as well as kick and punt return teams. Enders has six years of high school coaching experience and one year as a graduate assistant for Adrian College Football, Mich. He began his Washington State coaching career at Yelm High School, where he was a defensive coordinator for his father, Delbert Enders. As a player, Enders was an All MIAA Conference linebacker for the Adrian College Bulldogs and a All Region defensive end and center for the Gibsonburg High School Golden Bears, OH. Enders teaches Language Arts at Ellensburg High and attends graduate classes at CWU in creative writing.
